About the role
Saronic Technologies builds autonomous maritime platforms to modernize sea-based operations. You will join our engineering group to create and manage web systems that support our fleet of autonomous surface vessels.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Build and support web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React across the full stack.
- Create responsive interfaces for military and operational users.
- Work with product managers and designers to turn project goals into functional code.
- Connect third-party services and APIs to our internal systems.
- Improve system security, reliability, and speed through testing and code reviews.
- Follow Agile workflows including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with server-side programming using Node.js and Express.js.
- Familiarity with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic proficiency in Rust.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to access export-controlled information.
