About the role
Sardine builds agentic risk platforms designed to combat financial crime and automate fraud operations for global enterprises. We are looking for a senior engineer to lead the development of our user-facing interfaces while utilizing AI-assisted workflows to accelerate delivery.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain high-performance, accessible, and production-ready features using React and TypeScript.
- Define technical standards for frontend development and mentor junior team members through code reviews and guidance.
- Integrate AI and agentic tools like Claude into your daily workflow to increase development speed and establish best practices.
- Write and modify backend services and APIs using Go to support your frontend features.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical architecture and product roadmaps.
- Create technical documentation to support product adoption and internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on frontend systems.
- Advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript with a strong emphasis on UX and performance.
- Proven ability to use AI coding assistants to improve individual output and efficiency.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in technical decision-making and team mentorship.
- Experience building and deploying frontend applications at scale.
- Working knowledge of Go or the ability to pick up the language rapidly for backend tasks.
- Ability to manage priorities independently within an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Professional fluency in English for both technical reports and team communication.
Nice to have
- Experience with data pipelines or data-related tooling.
- Background in fintech, risk management, compliance, or regulated industry systems.
