About the role
Sardine is seeking a dedicated sales professional to lead our expansion into the United States federal government sector. You will report to the Head of Public Sector to manage the full sales cycle, from initial agency outreach to final contract procurement.

What you'll do
- Implement our federal market entry strategy by identifying priority agencies and establishing procurement roadmaps.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within federal agencies.
- Oversee capture processes from the first contact through to the signing of contracts.
- Connect with agency stakeholders in fraud, IT, compliance, and contracting to build long-term partnerships.
- Work with product and solutions engineering staff to deliver customized platform demonstrations.
- Coordinate with federal resellers and system integrators to speed up entry into new agencies.
- Assist with State and Local government sales efforts when capacity permits.
- Track all forecasting, pipeline activity, and sales metrics within Salesforce.
- Attend and represent the company at industry events such as AFCEA and ACT-IAC.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of total enterprise B2B sales experience.
- Minimum of 6 years focused on U.S. federal government business development, specifically managing competitive procurements from start to finish.
- Proven experience with federal procurement regulations and vehicles including FAR, GSA MAS, SEWP, CIO-SP3, IDIQs, and task orders.
- Existing network of contacts within federal system integrators.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Daily proficiency in using AI tools for research, outreach, and proposal development.
