Software Engineering Manager, AI Growth

You will guide technical strategy and execution for AI-powered developer tools, directly impacting how users engage with our platform. This is a pivotal role in capturing the current wave of AI adoption within developer workflows.

What you'll do

• Guide and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional development and enabling them to produce their best work.
• Define and own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for AI growth initiatives, collaborating closely with product and design.
• Drive key growth metrics, such as activation rates, signups from integrations, and overall developer adoption.
• Oversee the development and iteration of AI-driven developer tools, including MCP integrations and agentic builders.
• Establish technical direction for the team, ensuring architectural decisions balance development speed with long-term maintainability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing and partnerships to align on shared growth objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering management, preferably within growth or experimentation-focused settings.
• Strong full-stack technical background, with deep proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Next.js.
• Demonstrated experience with AI tools and concepts, including familiarity with MCP servers and current AI models like Claude Opus 4.5, Gemini 3, and GPT-5.2.
• Proven experience in growth engineering, including running A/B tests and making data-informed decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and other stakeholders.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a capacity to make sound decisions with incomplete information.
