Key facts

What you'll do

• Enhance the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server with new features and integrations for AI agents.
• Create systems that can generate Sanity applications, Studios, and frontend code with minimal human input.
• Develop evaluation frameworks using Braintrust to track progress and inform AI model decisions.
• Build user interfaces for AI platforms like ChatGPT and Claude using the MCP protocol.
• Work across the entire technology stack, from designing AI tools to deploying microservices.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to understand and improve AI model performance.
• Deliver production-ready AI features using TypeScript, ensuring reliability and quality.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to iterate rapidly.

Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js, with experience across frontend and backend development.
• Proven experience shipping AI-powered code to production, utilizing tools from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Vercel AI SDKs.
• Familiarity with using MCP servers in your development process, ideally with experience building one.
• Deep understanding of the current AI landscape, including model differences and relevant developer tools.
• A strong drive for continuous learning and experimentation in the AI space.
• Ability to intuitively diagnose and resolve AI model issues without solely relying on automated evaluations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sanity's MCP server or building custom MCP servers.
• Familiarity with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, or v0.
