Sanabenefits is dedicated to simplifying the U.S. healthcare system for its members. We are seeking an empathetic individual to join our customer support team, focusing on assisting members with their health plan and care navigation needs. This role is integral to ensuring members feel supported and valued.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Offer clear and understandable assistance regarding health insurance and employer benefits through phone, text, chat, and email.
• Guide new members through the onboarding process, ensuring they comprehend and select suitable health plans.
• Support members with challenges related to their healthcare journey, including provider searches, claims assistance, and referrals to clinical care managers.
• Provide insights to the product team on member support concerns to enhance user experiences.
• Ensure members feel well-supported and have a positive experience with our service.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with at least 2 years of experience in social work, patient advocacy, or health coaching.
• Must be comfortable working remotely.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently.
• Value making the healthcare system more effective for individuals and businesses.
• Be adaptable to change and willing to take on tasks outside a traditional job description in a startup environment.
• Be comfortable using modern web applications.

Nice to have

• Fluency in both Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
• Some familiarity with healthcare or insurance benefits is beneficial.

• Proficiency with web-based applications.
