Strategic Enterprise Implementation Consultant

About the role

This position involves guiding enterprise clients through the successful integration of Samsara's Connected Operations Cloud. You will be the primary point of contact, ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomes by managing the deployment process from start to finish. This role offers a broad view of a rapidly growing company, interacting with various internal departments.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Act as the main Samsara representative, overseeing the deployment of our technology for major clients to ensure they quickly realize value from their investment.
• Manage project timelines, risk logs, and governance meetings throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Facilitate workshops to define and document core business processes at a foundational level.
• Support clients in managing organizational change, including policy updates, communication strategies, and user training.
• Conduct training sessions, demonstrate Samsara's capabilities, and help resolve issues for both executive stakeholders and daily system users across diverse applications.
• Simultaneously manage multiple client projects and collaborate with internal teams to deliver an outstanding client experience.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior implementation consultant, project manager, or management consulting capacity, with prior experience in enterprise SaaS and hardware being beneficial.
• Proficient project management abilities, including adherence to established methodologies.
• At least 4 years of experience supporting or working with technical products.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience leading on-site workshops with groups exceeding 10 participants.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused approach to project management.
• Strong consulting skills with a history of managing end-to-end system implementations.
• A proven ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals, from senior executives to end-users.
• A proactive attitude, a willingness to go the extra mile, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent changes.

Nice to have

• Fluency in German.
• Experience integrating AI or automation into customer success workflows to improve efficiency.
• Background in developing implementation methodologies or frameworks.
• Comfort and effectiveness in unstructured, fast-paced, and evolving work settings.

Practical notes
