Sr. Sourcing Analyst

About the role

You will join the Strategic Sourcing team to drive cost efficiencies, manage supplier performance, and mitigate risk. This role focuses on elevating sourcing operations through category strategy development, contract negotiation, and stakeholder alignment.

What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, including contract reviews, vendor negotiations, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Build and execute category strategies that align with broader business objectives.
• Oversee supplier performance and coordinate business reviews with internal partners.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders to ensure optimal pricing and business outcomes.
• Balance cost savings with quality, speed, and risk management.
• Lead projects focused on improving sourcing tools, processes, and functional capabilities.
• Model Samsara cultural principles while scaling operations globally.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, finance, or a related business field.
• Bachelor degree in supply chain, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, including total cost of ownership, cost modeling, and build vs. buy frameworks.
• Ability to influence and drive alignment without relying on formal authority.
• Capacity to manage high-volume workloads in a fast-paced environment.
