Senior Legal Analyst & Litigation Project Manager

About the role

Samsara is looking for an experienced professional to manage litigation operations and handle technical responses to third-party data requests. You will work across legal, product, and engineering departments to oversee eDiscovery lifecycles and establish policies for protecting customer data.

What you'll do

• Lead the technical scoping and execution of responses to subpoenas and other legal requests for customer data.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external counsel to manage litigation portfolios and data production.
• Draft and refine operational policies regarding data disclosure and legal holds.
• Monitor federal and state regulatory developments to adjust internal strategies and workflows.
• Manage the end-to-end eDiscovery lifecycle, including data collection and quality control for productions.
• Utilize metrics to identify process gaps and implement scalable, tech-driven improvements for legal operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in litigation project management or data disclosure within a law firm, government agency, or corporate legal department.
• Operational knowledge of the Stored Communications Act, Electronic Communication Privacy Act, Wiretap Act, and Pen Register/Trap and Trace Statute.
• Experience with MLAT and international data privacy frameworks.
• Direct experience managing evidence and data requests from civil litigants, regulators, and law enforcement.
• Hands-on experience with eDiscovery review platforms.
• Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with high attention to detail.
