Lead Product Designer

This position involves shaping the user experience for critical operational software that powers essential industries. You will be responsible for the complete design lifecycle, from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring our products are intuitive and effective for users in sectors like transportation, construction, and agriculture.

What you'll do

• Lead design efforts for significant, complex projects, delivering user interfaces that create substantial value for both customers and the business.
• Partner closely with product management and engineering teams to define strategy, plan development, and execute design solutions.
• Directly engage with customers to understand their operational challenges, test design concepts, and inform product direction.
• Mentor other designers and contribute to the overall growth and culture of the design team.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in product design, focusing on user experience and user interface for web and mobile applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in interaction design and visual design principles.
• A portfolio or case studies that clearly show your design process, problem-solving abilities, and measurable impact. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Experience using AI design tools such as Cursor or Figma Make to enhance workflow efficiency and creativity.
• A history of influencing product strategy and successfully launching impactful designs.
• Proven ability to conduct user research and gather insights through direct customer interaction.
• Comfort and effectiveness working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with iterative development cycles.
• Strong track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for industries such as transportation, construction, or field services.
• Familiarity with designing for complex data visualization or workflow management tools.

Practical notes

• Salary range: $137,445 - $231,000 USD annually.
• This role is eligible for Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) with immediate vesting.
