What you'll do
- Construct and implement machine learning and deep learning systems for healthcare use cases.
- Examine extensive collections of health-related data, both organized and unorganized.
- Create predictive systems for aiding clinical choices, forecasting illnesses, categorizing patient risks, and enhancing operational workflows.
- Work alongside medical professionals, product leaders, engineers, and researchers to transform healthcare challenges into AI-driven answers.
- Develop natural language processing models to interpret clinical records and medical documentation.
- Assess the effectiveness of models, ensuring they are reliable, equitable, and understandable.
- Keep abreast of new developments in AI, health information technology, and biomedical study.
- Adhere to healthcare industry rules and data privacy requirements.
Requirements
- Hold a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Informatics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a similar discipline.
- Possess 3 to 8 years of practical experience in machine learning or applied AI.
- Have experience working with healthcare data types, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), claims information, medical images, clinical notes, and data from wearable devices.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, time-series forecasting, and statistical modeling.
- Be proficient in Python.
- Have experience with development frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Be experienced with SQL and big data technologies.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
