About the role
Safe provides a platform that quantifies cyber risk for global enterprises, moving leadership away from guesswork toward data-backed security decisions. We are looking for a technical researcher to join our team to focus on exploit development and vulnerability assessment. You will work in a high-intensity environment to help maintain our position as a leader in the security space.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Analyze vulnerability and exploit intelligence feeds to detect CVEs with public proof-of-concept code.
- Build and maintain internal labs to test and validate exploit proof-of-concepts.
- Adapt exploits for integration into frameworks like Metasploit and Nuclei.
- Submit contributions to open-source exploit projects under the Safe Security name.
- Monitor emerging security threats and attack vectors through continuous research.
- Coordinate with the Threat Research and Programme Management teams to align on security objectives.
Requirements
- M.Tech, B.Tech, B.E., or BCA degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Proven experience solving challenges on Hack The Box.
- Minimum Pro Hacker rank on Hack The Box.
- Completion of at least one pro lab on Hack The Box.
- Practical experience using LLMs to assist in vulnerability research.
- Proficiency with exploitation frameworks, port scanners, and vulnerability scanners.
- Familiarity with industry standards including MITRE CVE/NVD, CWE, CAPEC, and the ATT&CK framework.
- Ability to manage tasks and execute projects with minimal supervision.
