About the role
Russell Tobin is seeking a software engineer to join a team focused on building and scaling multi-agent AI systems. You will work on high-volume data pipelines and infrastructure to support advanced geospatial imagery processing.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Build and deploy production-ready multi-agent AI systems and orchestration frameworks.
- Design and maintain large-scale ETL pipelines using Kubernetes and container orchestration for imagery data.
- Develop database scaling strategies for distributed SQL systems managing geospatial and aerial datasets.
- Implement schema validation for metadata using Pydantic or Protocol Buffers.
- Create automated QA and validation pipelines using LLMs to track precision, recall, and F1 metrics.
- Set up observability and tracing for LLM agent performance, latency, and operational costs.
- Integrate Human-in-the-Loop workflows and continuous evaluation frameworks.
Requirements
- Master degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in software development using Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and core machine learning concepts.
- Professional background in building asynchronous data pipelines with tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Celery, Airflow, or Kafka.
- Experience with enterprise cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to set up golden datasets and execute rapid AI experiments.
- Experience deploying production AI agents using Agent Development Kits or AI SDKs.
Nice to have
- Expertise in generative AI, LLMs, advanced prompting, and model fine-tuning.
- Experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or LlamaIndex.
- Knowledge of tool-calling protocols including Model Context Protocol and function-calling schemas.
- Experience with vector databases and RAG architectures at scale.
- Understanding of distributed systems and performance tuning in high-volume environments.
