About the role
You will serve as a lead architect for streaming applications, defining the technical strategy for our presence on platforms like Google/Android TV, Fire TV, and Samsung. This role involves guiding cross-functional teams through complex architectural decisions while integrating AI-assisted engineering to improve development speed and code quality.

What you'll do
- Architect and build high-performance streaming experiences for our global user base.
- Determine the strategic direction for frontend development and lead architecture reviews.
- Collaborate with product and UX teams to define project scope and technical requirements.
- Improve application stability, security, and overall performance.
- Integrate AI-driven tools into the engineering workflow to boost productivity and testing automation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field (Master degree preferred).
- 15+ years of industry experience in senior software engineering positions.
- Expert programming proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong grasp of UX/UI principles and modern web frameworks such as React/Redux, Solid JS, Flutter, or Cordova.
- Hands-on experience with media frameworks, streaming protocols (HLS, MPEG-DASH), and DRM.
- Familiarity with media playback environments including MSE/EME, ExoPlayer, Shaka Player, or Dash.js.
- Proven ability to ship consumer-facing applications at scale.
- Demonstrated experience using generative AI tools to accelerate development and manage codebases.
