Senior Android Engineer, Crypto Expansion

About the role

Join the Crypto Expansion team to build and launch financial products for global markets. You will own end-to-end Android development for features including onboarding, funding, and multi-currency wallets while balancing regional requirements with platform scalability.

What you'll do

• Develop stable mobile features using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from initial technical design to final release.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Establish and maintain high standards for code quality and system scalability.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and guide technical decision-making.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with a deep understanding of MVVM architecture.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to lead complex projects and influence architectural direction.

Practical notes

• Base pay range for Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY): $196,000 to $230,000 USD.
• Base pay range for Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL): $172,000 to $202,000 USD.
• Base pay range for Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL): $153,000 to $179,000 USD.
