Join Riveron's Corporate Finance team as a Financial Analyst, playing a key part in supporting the company's growth initiatives. This position involves close collaboration with various internal departments and executive leadership. You will contribute to critical financial planning and analysis functions.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Help prepare monthly financial and operational reports for internal and external audiences.
• Assist in creating materials for monthly committee and quarterly board meetings.
• Support month-end closing tasks, including preparing the company's close package and reviewing profit and loss statements.
• Conduct various ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to aid executive and functional leaders in decision-making.
• Offer suggestions and contribute to the automation and enhancement of existing financial reporting processes and models.
• Support the annual budgeting process and assist with monthly budget versus actual comparisons.

Requirements

• Master's degree in finance or accounting.
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in Big 4 accounting, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced understanding of accounting and finance principles.
• Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a knack for solving complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey insights from data effectively.
• Independent, self-motivated, and adept at building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
• Eager to introduce efficiency improvements into recurring workflows.
• Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with a professional services firm or client.
• Experience with a private equity-backed portfolio company or client.
• Familiarity with PowerBI, NetSuite, OpenAir, or similar data visualization/reporting tools.
• MBA or CPA certification.
