Finance Operations - Senior Associate

About the role

Join our team to support U.S. accounting and finance operations, including month-end close and financial reporting for U.S. entities. This position is for finance professionals with experience in U.S. GAAP, complex accounting, internal controls, and U.S. compliance. You will manage general ledger activities and ensure adherence to accounting standards.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes using Oracle NetSuite.
• Manage complex accounting schedules, including intangible and goodwill amortization.
• Perform and review detailed bank, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Review U.S. state and local tax filings and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Supervise intercompany validations, eliminations, cross-border funding, and Transfer Pricing.
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Review vendor and payroll accruals, along with accounts payable and receivable activities.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in U.S. accounting, financial reporting, or audit, ideally in a Global Capability Center or U.S.-focused financial services.
• MBA in Finance, M.Com, or Semi-Qualified CA.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis, financial modeling, and reconciliations.
• Experience with an enterprise ERP system, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, and month-end close.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative and self-motivated approach.
• Ability to manage deliverables across U.S. and India time zones with confidentiality.
• Comfortable working shift hours (4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST) to align with U.S. teams.
