Ritual is constructing a sovereign execution layer designed for artificial intelligence. The company operates a private testnet that is currently active and live. At its foundation, Ritual is developing the first blockchain purpose-built for AI-native operations. This chain is engineered to support a new category of applications existing at the intersection of decentralized networks and machine intelligence. The company's inaugural product, Infernet, is establishing new benchmarks by enabling developers to interact with AI models through on-chain smart contracts and off-chain environments, highlighting a commitment to integrating these technological domains.
The company is seeking a TEE Specialist to lead the next generation of verifiable on-chain compute solutions. This role focuses on merging trusted execution environment technology with GPU processing capabilities for artificial intelligence workloads. The position involves immediate, high-impact work essential for making fully onchain AI a practical reality.
Key Responsibilities
You will architect and implement solutions that utilize TEEs to ensure the integrity and security of AI model execution. The role involves developing integration patterns that combine TEE capabilities with GPU acceleration to handle intensive AI inference demands efficiently. You will create robust verification frameworks that confirm computational integrity through the use of hardware-based TEE features. Additional duties include designing secure network traffic attestation systems to facilitate safe off-chain data bridging and employing secure enclaves for sensitive operations within the distributed network. You will work alongside the core team to deliver practical, market-ready solutions and participate in architecture decisions that weigh security, performance, and delivery schedules. Maintaining and optimizing TEE environments within live production systems is also a core function of this position.
Core Qualifications
You possess deep, hands-on expertise in TEE technologies, including SGX, TDX, and SEV-SNP, with a record of real-world implementation. Your background includes systems programming in languages such as C++ and Rust, with a primary focus on developing secure enclave modules. You have direct experience integrating AI frameworks within the constraints of TEE environments and understand how GPU workloads function within protected contexts. A strong command of Linux internals and kernel-level programming is necessary to support trusted execution pipelines. You are proficient in network security protocols and have designed traffic attestation schemes for external system integrations. Your understanding covers EVM-based blockchain models and distributed system patterns that ensure node synchronization. A history of delivering production TEE deployments that serve active user workloads is required. You have experience working with TEE SDK variants like Gramine and Open Enclave to meet integration deadlines. You evaluate threat models and make security-focused decisions while balancing strict market delivery timelines. You perform effectively under intense pressure, rapidly switching context while maintaining high execution quality. You drive projects from start to finish, demonstrating strong communication skills and high ownership across complex, ambiguous challenges. You maintain high energy levels while meeting demanding deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
Additional Desired Experience
You have experience with AI or ML systems and their specific computational constraints. Your understanding extends to blockchain node operations and associated development practices. You have a background in cryptography and formal secure systems design, which strengthens protocol choices. Experience with network verification protocols, including zkTLS or TLSNotary approaches, is valued. You have a record of contributing to open-source TEE or security projects that demonstrate tangible impact.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive compensation package in the range of $180,000 to $220,000 annually, along with an annual discretionary bonus.
