Regulatory Compliance Analyst

About the role

Ripple is seeking a Licensing Compliance Analyst to support its US licensing program. You will work under the Regulatory Compliance Manager to maintain adherence to federal and state standards, including money transmitter licenses, the NYDFS BitLicense, and a Limited Purpose Trust Charter.

What you'll do

• Manage state license renewal applications, annual reports, surety bond adjustments, and change notifications in coordination with Legal and Finance.
• Execute the full lifecycle of NMLS MSB Call Report preparation, including data collection, quality assurance, and submission.
• Assist in regulatory examination preparation by gathering documentation and drafting correspondence.
• Support internal governance by preparing materials for committee and board meetings.
• Maintain the architecture of regulatory planning tools and calendars to ensure regional SME compliance.
• Research regulatory updates, update internal playbooks, and participate in compliance projects.
• Utilize workflow automation and AI tools to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, legal, compliance, or financial services.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with US money transmission licensing frameworks or trust company regulations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to draft clear, concise regulatory correspondence.
• Willingness to integrate AI tools into daily compliance workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital assets or payments.
• Background working at a financial services regulatory agency, such as a state banking department or the NYDFS.
• Experience with GRC platforms like LogicGate.
• Technical skills in Python, Tableau, or Excel for handling transaction datasets.
