Requirements
You bring five or more years of hands-on experience as a software engineer before transitioning into management. This background provides the credibility needed to guide technical teams.
You have two or more years of direct experience leading an engineering team of at least four people through performance cycles. This includes coaching and development responsibilities.
You apply two or more years of experience with game engines such as Unreal or Unity. You have shipped features using these tools in a professional setting.
You demonstrate two or more years of work in game AI or ML technologies. This includes areas like behavior trees, perception systems, inference systems, or model training and inference.
You read, write, and review C++ code consistently within complex environments. This skill is necessary for technical reviews and collaboration.
You navigate large-scale game or engine codebases while collaborating effectively with global teams. Experience with distributed workflows is vital.
You communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders. You translate complex technical concepts for broad audiences without losing accuracy.
Nice to have
Experience supporting console platforms such as Xbox and PlayStation in live environments is valued. Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and continuous delivery for AI-enabled products is a plus.
