Recruiter - Games (Contract)

About the role

Riot Games is seeking a dedicated recruiter to join our Shanghai office and support the expansion of our game development teams. You will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process for both contract and permanent roles.

What you'll do

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of game development roles.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring strategies and meet recruitment targets.
• Proactively source passive talent to build diverse and high-quality pipelines.
• Oversee the entire hiring workflow from intake meetings and interviews to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Provide clear communication to candidates to ensure a positive experience throughout the process.
• Work with the People team to refine recruiting operations and workforce planning.
• Use data and market intelligence to guide hiring decisions and improve overall performance.
• Maintain compliance with internal hiring standards and business objectives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the games industry or a high-growth tech environment.
• Proven track record of hiring for both contract and full-time positions.
• Experience recruiting across disciplines including Art, Design, Production, Software Engineering, and Insights.
• Ability to create and execute effective sourcing strategies for passive candidates.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and hiring managers regarding talent strategy.
• Deep understanding of interview processes and candidate management.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese for written and verbal communication.
• Analytical skills to interpret recruiting metrics and market data.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of specific experience recruiting within the gaming sector.
• Proficiency with Greenhouse or similar applicant tracking systems.
