About the role
Rex.zone is seeking AI Developers to create and implement production-level AI systems and workflows for training large language models. This role encompasses the entire process from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain AI services for both batch and real-time processing while integrating model inference APIs.
- Construct data pipelines for training and evaluation that include versioning, validation, and quality assurance checks.
- Establish automated evaluation processes for large language models, focusing on prompt quality and safety regressions through offline metrics and human reviews.
- Assist with natural language processing and computer vision tasks, including classification, summarization, ranking, named entity recognition, and content moderation.
- Keep detailed documentation of experiments and advocate for reproducible machine learning engineering practices.
Requirements
- Mid to senior-level experience in producing AI/ML-driven products that are deployed in a production environment.
- Proficient in Python with a solid understanding of software engineering principles, including APIs, testing, continuous integration and delivery, and code reviews.
- Practical knowledge in machine learning and deep learning, particularly with large language models, natural language processing, or computer vision.
- Capable of designing evaluation strategies and utilizing findings to enhance model performance.
- Familiarity with data labeling processes, quality assurance evaluations, and adherence to annotation guidelines.
Nice to have
- Experience with reinforcement learning from human feedback, preference modeling, prompt iteration, or feedback loops involving human input.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices related to deployment, monitoring, and experiment tracking.
- Background in retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, and embedding pipelines.
- Experience in content safety labeling, red-teaming, or evaluations aligned with policy standards.
Compensation
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $30 to $50, based on experience and the scope of work.
