About the role
We are looking for a DevOps engineer to help scale our platform, which supports over 1,000 customers in digitizing safety and efficiency workflows. You will manage our cloud infrastructure, optimize costs, and refine our automation processes to support our rapid growth.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Monitor and reduce AWS infrastructure expenses.
- Automate the deployment, provisioning, and monitoring of environments.
- Enhance system observability.
- Partner with QA and development teams to streamline operations.
- Identify manual tasks and replace them with automated solutions.
- Configure and maintain local development environments, including TLS and dev containers.
- Perform Linux system administration, server management, and performance troubleshooting.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles.
- Practical experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize AWS resources and lower cloud spending.
- Proficiency with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Capability in scripting or automation languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies.
- Strong sense of ownership and a focus on operational efficiency.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS Compute Optimizer, Cost Explorer, or Trusted Advisor.
- Background in Node.js or PHP.
- Experience with on-call rotations and incident response.
- Knowledge of IAM, secrets management, or security practices.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Experience working within a fast-growing startup.
