About the role

DeployRight Tech is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their global team on a freelance basis. You will focus on building and maintaining secure, high-availability infrastructure while managing software delivery pipelines for international clients.

What you'll do

• Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Automate system scaling, configuration, and monitoring tasks.
• Partner with developers to improve system integration and application performance.
• Resolve system health issues to minimize downtime.
• Apply industry standard practices to infrastructure and environments.
• Research and integrate new technologies to improve workflow efficiency.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture and internal procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps or equivalent position.
• Proven history of managing large-scale deployments and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms including AWS or Azure.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Scripting capability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks including Grafana and ELK.
• Understanding of networking and database management.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones.

• Previous experience working in a remote or freelance capacity.
