DevOps Engineer (USA Based, 100% Remote)

About the role

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to manage the stability and performance of our software delivery lifecycle. You will bridge the gap between our development and operations teams to ensure our systems remain reliable and efficient.

What you'll do

• Architect and build systems from the ground up.
• Automate deployment pipelines across all environments.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of production infrastructure.
• Manage cloud-based resources using infrastructure as code standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to align on data models and technical requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to share knowledge and maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing production systems on AWS.
• Proficiency with Linux, specifically Ubuntu.
• Background working with distributed, large-scale, and real-time applications.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies.
• Skilled in Git branching workflows, CI tools, and code review processes.
• Ability to work autonomously in a high-speed environment.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Alignment with our mission to provide regulated, margined, and cleared bitcoin products.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with HashiCorp products like Vault, Consul, Packer, or Vagrant.
• Background in trading systems, digital wallets, lending, clearing, settlement, or matching engines.
• Interest in the broader cryptocurrency and bitcoin ecosystem.
