What you'll do

• Work with Data Engineers to implement data strategies and contribute to technology plans.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to use marketing data for business solutions.
• Examine existing data for accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
• Assist senior team members in selecting data models and algorithms for specific problems.
• Enhance user experiences and business outcomes through predictive modeling and advanced analysis.
• Coordinate with internal and external data engineering teams to deploy and monitor models.
• Support digital analytics setups, understanding tag management, analytics, and website JavaScript.
• Build and test applications for data pipelines, including data visualization, routing, cleaning, and interaction.

Requirements

• A college degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field, or a completed coding bootcamp program with relevant data science experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for advanced analysis.
• Experience with BigQuery or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure big data tools.
• Experience with Machine Learning concepts.
• Familiarity with how JavaScript is used on websites.
• A demonstrated ability to solve problems with data through reliable delivery, quality, and creative approaches.
• The capacity to listen to business needs and devise suitable solutions.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks.
• A strong drive to become a skilled Data Scientist in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketing segmentation, attribution, and propensity modeling.

Practical notes

• Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000 annually, based on training and experience.
