Backend & Integration Developer

About the role

This position involves developing and supporting data connections and backend services. We are seeking a versatile developer who enjoys working with core technologies rather than extensive frameworks. Your primary responsibilities will include transferring data between different platforms, writing SQL queries, and creating small, efficient background processes.

What you'll do

• Create and manage data links between various systems.
• Develop small backend services using Workers.
• Prioritize database structure before user interface design.
• Perform basic front-end tasks with minimal framework use on Pages/Workers.
• Oversee scheduled tasks and resolve data transfer problems.
• Manage general data upkeep across systems and spreadsheets.

Requirements

• Proficient in using the command line interface (SSH/CLI).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database principles.
• Skilled in Vanilla JavaScript and PHP.
• Experience with API integrations, particularly REST and SOAP.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with system administration tasks for legacy systems.
