Backend-Developer - Egypt

About the role

This is a fully remote position for a Backend Developer to contribute to an AI-first platform. You will build and refine features for a comprehensive property management software.

Key facts

What you'll do

Develop and maintain the backend of a web application.

Influence architectural decisions and the product's technical direction.

Create efficient pipelines for processing documents, emails, and third-party integrations, capable of handling high volumes.

Develop and enhance AI agents for a growing library of templates.

Improve the RAG and knowledge retrieval system, including embeddings, semantic search, and reranking.

Work within an AI-centric development environment using Claude and other AI tools.

Manage code versions and facilitate team collaboration.

Requirements

A completed degree in business informatics or computer science, or equivalent programming or automation experience.

Proficiency in TypeScript.

2-4 years of professional backend development experience.

Strong English communication skills.

Technical understanding and strong problem-solving abilities.

Capacity to perform under pressure.

Ability to learn quickly and work with discipline.

Nice to have

Experience with German property management software.

Practical notes

Salary: $800 - $1500 per month before taxes.
