What you'll do

• Develop and manage backend systems for DeFi products.
• Contribute to smart contract creation, blockchain data indexing, and system performance tracking.
• Work with product and business teams to understand needs and assist in product strategy and system architecture.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or in a comparable position.
• Deep understanding of backend technologies and current industry standards.
• Proficiency with typing systems and a strong adherence to typing best practices.
• Ability to comprehend Solidity smart contracts. Experience writing smart contracts following established best practices is a plus.
• Experience utilizing GraphQL for blockchain indexing.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps methodologies and tools, including Docker and CI/CD processes.
• Expert-level Git skills.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in an agile setting.

Nice to have

• Experience writing smart contracts with a focus on industry best practices.
