Backend-Developer / AI-Developer 100% Remote

About the role

This position is for a Backend or AI Developer to contribute to an AI-first platform for German property management. You will implement AI solutions and work with advanced AI models.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain the backend of a web application.
• Contribute to the architectural decisions and the future direction of the technology stack.
• Create scalable systems for processing documents, emails, and third-party integrations.
• Build and refine AI agents for a growing library of use cases.
• Enhance our retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system, including embeddings, semantic search, and reranking.
• Work within an AI-centric development environment utilizing Claude and other AI tools.
• Manage code versions and team collaboration using Git.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in backend development.
• Experience with AI development or implementing AI solutions.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with Next.js, React, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience with databases.
• A degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science, or equivalent practical programming experience, or experience with automation.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Technical understanding and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with shadcn/ui.

• Salary: $800 to $1500 per month before taxes.
