About the role

Lead the second shift operations for the machine shop, overseeing CNC operators and driving production of high-precision components for the Terran R rocket. You will guide team leaders, support strategic initiatives, and foster career growth within your teams. This role offers the chance to directly impact flight hardware in a rapidly expanding, state-of-the-art facility.

What you'll do

• Take full responsibility for multiple CNC operator teams.
• Guide the team leaders on the operations floor.
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning for the shop floor.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to your team members to help them achieve their career goals.

Requirements

• Experience identifying gaps in manufacturing processes and analyzing their impact on the production system.
• Experience managing and assigning daily work tasks to a team.
• Strong interpersonal abilities for effective cross-departmental collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience leading multiple teams of people managers.
• Background in manufacturing highly regulated aerospace products.
• Experience implementing system improvements and measuring their effectiveness.
