Senior Material Planner at Relativity Space.
About the role
You will manage material demand planning for the Terran R vehicle program, ensuring supply chain alignment across multiple missions. This role requires balancing technical requirements with production schedules to maintain material availability in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Translate complex multi-level Bills of Materials and schedules into actionable material requirements for Engineering, Manufacturing, Integration, Test, and Launch teams.
- Coordinate with Procurement to establish acquisition strategies based on generated demand signals.
- Oversee the Material Readiness process to provide visibility into supply and demand status for specific missions.
- Create allocation models for materials that are constrained or at risk.
- Quantify forecasts to guide immediate and medium-term sourcing decisions.
- Contribute to the implementation and optimization of MRP systems within ERP platforms to improve planning accuracy and automation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in material, demand, or fulfillment planning within aerospace, manufacturing, or supply chain sectors.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders in engineering, finance, quality, and executive management.
- Proficiency in MRP logic and ERP systems such as Infor LN, SAP, or Oracle.
- Experience managing demand forecasts and performing BOM reconciliation.
- Familiarity with New Product Development and New Product Introduction processes.
- Understanding of design release systems and workflows.
- Ability to manage competing priorities under strict timelines.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in aerospace startups or frontier technology companies.

- MRP and ERP systems (Infor LN, SAP, or Oracle)
- Data analysis tools including SQL, Tableau, and advanced Excel
