Reddit is seeking a Staff Product Manager to shape the future of games on its platform. This role will define how gaming experiences integrate into communities and creator ecosystems, spanning both player-facing features and developer tools. You will bridge the gap between diverse user groups and technical considerations to build a thriving games environment.

What you'll do

• Establish the product vision for Reddit's Games Ecosystem, outlining how games contribute to community engagement and the company's long-term growth.
• Pinpoint the most impactful opportunities across player experiences, community involvement, creator and developer support, game discovery, and overall ecosystem health.
• Develop a product plan that balances user-facing features, community-specific tools, developer resources, platform enhancements, and ecosystem initiatives.
• Enhance game-related participation within communities, covering discussions, identity, events, social play, creator content, and recurring engagement.
• Improve the methods by which quality games and related experiences are found, distributed, and revisited on Reddit.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Machine Learning, Developer Relations, Community Management, Partnerships, Trust & Safety, and Policy teams to deliver lasting improvements.
• Engage with creators, developers, studios, moderators, and community leaders to understand what drives game success on Reddit and identify platform friction points.
• Define metrics for measuring player and community value, creator success, experience quality, retention, discovery, and ecosystem vitality.
• Create frameworks to guide leadership decisions on native development, creator support, partnerships, platform improvements, or discontinuing less effective efforts.
• Guide cross-functional teams through ambiguity, translating broad strategy into tangible product outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience leading product strategy in areas such as games, online communities, creator platforms, developer tools, social products, marketplaces, entertainment, or consumer growth.
• A strong understanding of what makes games and related experiences engaging, repeatable, social, and integrated with communities.
• Ability to think across multiple facets of an ecosystem, including players, fans, communities, moderators, creators, developers, partners, and internal teams.
• Comfort with both consumer product challenges and technical platform considerations.
• Proven ability to use data and user feedback to identify opportunities, prioritize work, and measure product success.
• Demonstrated leadership in collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Community, DevRel, Partnerships, Policy, Trust & Safety, and senior management.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to create clear decision frameworks for aligning teams on complex opportunities.
• A genuine interest in games, fandoms, creator tools, AI in creation, developer ecosystems, online communities, and the evolution of participatory entertainment.

Practical notes

• Salary Range: $217,000 - $303,900 USD
• Eligible for equity (RSUs).
