What you'll do

• Guide new features from concept through development, launch, and ongoing improvements.
• Enhance the user interface for content discovery and community engagement.
• Contribute to a shared component library and UI best practices to accelerate development.
• Develop the technical foundation for future platform capabilities.
• Build a high-quality, low-latency web platform at scale.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver polished UI elements.
• Solve complex product and design challenges.
• Work with design, product, and engineering to create excellent user experiences.
• Participate in the entire development lifecycle, including technical design, coding, testing, analysis, and deployment.
• Review code and design documents, providing feedback on product specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web application development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proven experience with at least one modern front-end framework like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Familiarity with general-purpose programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Scala.
• Deep understanding of modern web development tools and concepts, including JavaScript bundlers and framework internals.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and timelines.
• A proactive and innovative mindset, comfortable taking action in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote setting and for discussing technical topics with diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Practical notes

• Base salary range: $164,200 - $229,900 USD.
• Eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units.
