About the role

Reddit is building an internal audit and risk function centered around AI. This unique position offers the chance to pioneer AI-driven assurance and risk management. You will be instrumental in developing and scaling an industry-leading AI assurance program, starting with transforming SOX testing using agentic AI.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered testing to enhance accuracy and efficiency in SOX compliance.
• Lead the evaluation of key business process controls, such as financial reporting, revenue recognition, and payroll, using AI systems to identify and address risks.
• Partner with departments including Finance, Sales, People & Culture, and Legal to improve controls and business processes.
• Act as a primary resource and advocate for AI and automation in risk management.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation within the Risk Advisory and Assurance team.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4), internal audit, or compliance, with a strong interest in technology and automation.
• Experience supporting internal controls and SOX testing, particularly within technology or platform companies.
• A self-driven, results-oriented individual with a forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.
• A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP.

Skills & tools

• Experience with controls testing, including business process, entity-level, application controls, and key reports.
• Ability to analyze complex processes to pinpoint risks and automation opportunities.
• Practical experience with AI tools and prompting, including platforms like Google AI suite, ChatGPT, or specialized audit AI tools.
• Strong critical thinking skills with a focus on solutions and comfort with ambiguity.
