Join our team as a Technical Consultant, focusing on Oracle Cloud solutions for our largest clients. You will bridge the gap between customer needs and Ramp's technical capabilities, ensuring successful integration and ongoing partnership. This role involves shaping financial solutions and influencing product development.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for Enterprise and Strategic Enterprise customers using Oracle Cloud, handling complex global financial setups.
- Advise customers and internal teams on Oracle Cloud integration, configuration, and system design for high-value projects.
- Work with Customer Activation and Account Management to evaluate requirements and propose scalable solutions involving Oracle Cloud, HRIS, and API integrations.
- Collaborate with onboarding specialists to support technical tasks, speeding up customer value realization.
- Help customers resolve technical issues and implement products effectively, leveraging your Oracle Cloud expertise.
- Conduct technical discovery to understand customer Oracle Cloud environments and recommend optimal Ramp architecture, including API usage.
- Act as an expert on Oracle Cloud and Ramp's accounting integration, advocating for development based on customer needs.
- Troubleshoot Oracle Cloud integration problems and guide customers through configuration choices.
- Create internal documentation and tools to enhance Ramp's support for Oracle Cloud integration.
- Provide customer feedback and pain points to Product and Engineering teams to influence Ramp's product roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field.
- 4+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, preferably in SaaS or fintech.
- 3+ years of direct experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud, including financial modules, integration patterns, and enterprise deployment.
- Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Financials accounting workflows, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Subledger Accounting, and multi-org structures.
- Ability to work with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture, explaining these concepts to finance and operations stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design on enterprise-driven gaps, influencing roadmap decisions.
- Advise on non-standard Oracle Cloud implementations and edge cases, balancing customer needs with platform scalability.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical solutions into business value and guide customers.
- Collaborative approach to work across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
- Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills, with a focus on action and ownership.
- Adaptable and resourceful in fast-paced environments, comfortable with ambiguity.
