Staff UX Designer - AI at Qualtrics.
About the role
Qualtrics is seeking a Staff UX Designer to build the agentic layer of our platform, which serves over 18,000 global clients. You will move beyond static mockups to design and prototype intelligent experiences directly in code. This role requires a builder-first mindset to bridge the gap between design and development while influencing the future of AI-driven enterprise software.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Use advanced AI tools to accelerate design workflows and iterate on intelligent experiences.
- Deliver functional, production-ready code into the QDS 3.0 pipeline.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to prototype complex AI interactions.
- Test and integrate generative design technologies to establish agentic interface standards.
- Collaborate with the Core AI team to ensure all AI-authored code meets performance, accessibility, and security requirements.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing complex interfaces where AI or ML is a core feature.
- Ability to translate design concepts into coded prototypes using React and TypeScript.
- History of using AI tooling or LLM-integrated workflows to improve design-to-development efficiency.
- A portfolio showing intelligent, agentic user experiences with a focus on systems thinking in data-heavy environments.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams to contribute active code.
