About the role

Qualtrics is launching a new incubation team focused on taking early-stage business concepts from hypothesis to validation or termination. We are seeking a product leader with founder-level energy who can navigate ambiguity and prioritize rapid learning over traditional roadmap execution.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Execute structured discovery by conducting customer interviews and analyzing market sizing and competitive landscapes.
• Design and run lightweight experiments to pressure-test assumptions before committing significant resources.
• Lead a small, cross-functional pod of design, engineering, and data members to build minimal prototypes for learning purposes.
• Synthesize feedback from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to form a clear, honest perspective on project viability.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership, including the decision to stop projects that do not meet success criteria.
• Maintain a high sense of urgency to avoid analysis paralysis.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, specifically within early-stage or 0 to 1 product environments.
• Demonstrated ability to operate without established processes, roadmaps, or predefined success metrics.
• Proven track record of building and invalidating product concepts rather than just shipping features.
• Strong customer instincts with a preference for early-stage discovery work.
• Ability to synthesize disparate signals such as user research, business models, and technical feasibility into a coherent thesis.
• Intellectual humility and the ability to pivot based on evidence.

• Hybrid work model: Employees work from the office on Mondays, Thursdays, and one additional day determined by leadership.
