About the role
Qualtrics is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance our AI and machine learning R&D strategy. You will build scalable systems to personalize user experiences and integrate data-driven features across our platform.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain scalable microservices for statistical analysis and machine learning model deployment.
- Create and manage data pipelines to cleanse, index, and anonymize multi-modal data.
- Participate in architectural reviews, design discussions, and requirement definitions.
- Prototype and test solutions for complex algorithmic challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product managers and tech-ops teams.
- Stay current with academic research and industry trends to evaluate new frameworks.
- Work in a hybrid model with three days in the office per week (Mondays, Thursdays, and one team-selected day).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C#, or Python, including object-oriented design.
- Strong foundation in algorithm design, performance, and complexity analysis.
- Proven track record of designing and optimizing machine learning models for real-world applications.
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale machine learning systems.
