Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. This position is a contract role lasting over six months, with the possibility of extension. The work can be performed remotely, but the candidate should be based in Pleasanton, CA.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and enhance machine learning models for various applications.
• Utilize your expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning to optimize model performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning or related fields.
• Proficiency in supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms.
• Strong background in neural networks and natural language processing (NLP).
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps and MLOps practices for effective model deployment and management.

Nice to have

• Experience in the retail industry.
• Familiarity with additional cloud platforms.

Practical notes

• Pay range is $50 - $58 per hour.
