About the role
Pyramid Consulting is seeking a Data Scientist to focus on Generative AI and Large Language Model development for a major healthcare client. You will build enterprise-grade applications and improve output accuracy through advanced retrieval techniques.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Architect and construct LLM-based applications tailored for enterprise requirements.
- Implement RAG frameworks to enhance the relevance and reliability of model outputs.
- Develop and optimize prompt engineering methods to ensure consistent performance.
- Process both structured and unstructured data to facilitate AI workflows.
- Write scalable Python code and manage model integrations via APIs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into functional AI systems.
- Assess model metrics to minimize hallucinations and increase system stability.
- Oversee the deployment and continuous monitoring of models within cloud environments.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Direct experience working with Generative AI and LLMs.
- Background in RAG, vector search, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines.
- Applied knowledge of NLP and prompt engineering.
- Experience deploying AI solutions into production environments.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience in professional sectors such as healthcare, finance, retail, or enterprise software.
Nice to have
- Experience with orchestration tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
- Proficiency with vector databases like Pinecone or FAISS.
- Familiarity with specific models including GPT, Llama, BERT, T5, or Mistral.
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and model monitoring.
