Senior Technical Product Owner

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner to join our team in Buffalo, NY. This role involves leading software engineering initiatives and driving product innovation within our Advisory practice. You will work closely with engagement teams to translate their needs into effective product strategies while managing the entire product lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Oversee software engineering projects, ensuring alignment with product strategy and stakeholder expectations.
• Manage the product lifecycle from inception to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 10 years in Engineering Product Management.
• Strong experience with project management tools like JIRA and Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, with PMP and/or CSM certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with Java, Python, and C++ for effective engineering discussions.
• Understanding of API management and microservices architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience with Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and CI/CD practices to enhance software quality.

Practical notes

The salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $106,000, depending on individual qualifications and experience. Eligible employees will receive an annual discretionary bonus.
