What you'll do
- Oversee the complete recruitment cycle for essential roles in engineering, science, and operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to accurately assess their needs and devise innovative sourcing strategies that go beyond conventional platforms.
- Create and execute strategies to attract and engage passive candidates globally, utilizing events, conferences, and professional communities.
- Ensure that all candidates have a positive and enriching experience throughout the hiring process, reflecting our company culture and values.
- Continuously evaluate, enhance, and automate recruitment workflows and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop a reliable and thorough hiring process that maintains high standards even as the company scales.
- Spearhead talent acquisition initiatives, such as the introduction of new systems or enhancements to interview training programs.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring a data-driven approach to talent acquisition.
- Foster relationships with external recruitment agencies and partners to broaden our talent pool and sourcing capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to keep our strategies fresh and effective.
- Advocate for diversity and inclusion in all hiring practices, ensuring a broad range of perspectives within the team.
- Collaborate with the People team to align recruitment strategies with overall company culture and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment, particularly within a startup or scale-up context.
- Proven track record of successfully hiring for both technical and non-technical roles, including challenging international positions.
- Familiarity with organizations that maintain exceptionally high talent standards and selective hiring processes.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments, taking full ownership of recruitment responsibilities.
- Strong sourcing intuition to identify and engage with overlooked talent in the market.
- Creative approach to talent sourcing and attraction, utilizing a variety of tools and methods beyond traditional platforms like LinkedIn.
- Experience in managing and enhancing systems and processes to support scalability in recruitment efforts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and collaborate effectively with demanding stakeholders.
- A genuine passion for contributing to the establishment of a pioneering venture in the clean energy sector.

Practical notes
This position is based on-site in Munich. The interview process consists of an initial 30-45 minute conversation with a recruiter, followed by three panel interviews, each lasting 60 minutes.
