About the role
You will own the end-to-end execution of Proxima Fusion's global communications strategy, translating complex fusion ambitions into clear, credible, and compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders. In this role, you will act as the primary media interface for our international footprint, shaping coverage across Germany, Europe, and globally with speed, precision, and strategic insight. You will lead high-stakes media moments around our engineering milestones, partnerships, and policy engagements, ensuring each story reinforces our position as Europe's best-funded fusion company. You will translate the technical depth of the Wendelstein 7-X stellarator platform and our next-generation Alpha and Stellaris machines into narratives that resonate with investors, policymakers, and the broader public. You will combine rigorous journalistic understanding with commercial judgment to safeguard our reputation, build trust, and make our energy future visible long before it arrives. Ultimately, you will be the voice that demonstrates how big things are possible in Europe when world-class talent is assembled around a clear mission.
