About the role

Protolabs is looking for a contract recruiter to join our Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence. You will manage full-cycle hiring for our corporate and manufacturing teams, serving as a key advisor to hiring managers while building diverse talent pipelines.

What you'll do

• Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial intake and candidate screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to design and implement effective, inclusive hiring strategies.
• Proactively source active and passive candidates through social media, professional networks, industry associations, and university programs.
• Serve as a talent advisor by providing market insights and guidance on workforce planning.
• Maintain accurate recruiting data and metrics to ensure process efficiency and compliance.
• Represent the company brand at career fairs and networking events.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve recruiting operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for tech, skilled manufacturing, or similar corporate functions.
• Ability to work onsite in Maple Plain, MN three days per week.
• Proficiency in managing full-cycle processes independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong consultative skills with the ability to influence hiring leaders.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting databases.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or have refugee/asylee status to meet ITAR compliance requirements. Temporary visa holders (e.g., F-1, H-1, L, TN, OPT) are not eligible.

Practical notes

• This role requires the ability to sit for long periods and use standard office equipment. You may occasionally need to walk through manufacturing areas, which may involve exposure to noise, machinery, or varying temperatures. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
