About the role
Protolabs is looking for a coordinator to support our Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence. You will manage administrative tasks, interview logistics, and candidate communications to ensure an efficient hiring process. This is a contract position focused on helping our team attract and secure talent across the organization.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Support the global recruiting team, HR partners, and hiring managers with administrative tasks throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- Post job openings to our career site and external boards.
- Manage interview scheduling across multiple time zones for phone, Microsoft Teams, and in-person meetings.
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment for interns, temporary staff, and entry-level roles.
- Act as the main contact for candidates regarding their application status and interview logistics.
- Process pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screens, and reference checks.
- Organize campus recruiting events and career fairs.
- Administer internship and contingent worker programs.
- Handle candidate travel arrangements.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and suggest process improvements.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in recruiting operations, talent acquisition coordination, or HR administration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience supporting stakeholders across different locations and time zones.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or have refugee or asylee status due to ITAR compliance. Temporary visa holders (E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN, or OPT) are not eligible.
- Bachelor degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is accepted.
Nice to have
- Experience in corporate recruitment or HR administration.
- Prior experience coordinating with global stakeholders.
Skills & tools
- Microsoft Office suite.
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HR software.
Practical notes
- Physical requirements include sitting for extended periods, using a computer, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Work environment is primarily an office setting, though some duties may require access to manufacturing areas with noise or machinery.
