Inside Sales Representative

About the role

Protolabs is looking for an entry-level professional to manage transactional sales for our 3D printing and CNC service lines. You will focus on driving business growth by nurturing leads, managing sales pipelines, and supporting customers through their manufacturing projects.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage the full sales cycle for specific opportunities, including design iterations and client requirements.
• Generate and nurture leads through marketing events, campaigns, and outreach to past contacts.
• Track performance metrics such as call outcomes, meetings, pipeline health, and closed revenue.
• Conduct discovery calls and customer presentations to identify needs and retain business.
• Escalate large production opportunities to management to ensure proper resource allocation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage project communications.
• Use CRM software to document interactions, prioritize tasks, and manage sales inquiries from web forms, chat, and email.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent sales background.
• Ability to manage time effectively to meet sales targets and close deals.
• Self-motivated approach to achieving company objectives.

Nice to have

• Fluency in German.
