About the role

Protolabs is seeking an Injection Moulding Setter to join their team in Telford. This role involves setting up and processing orders efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in plastics manufacturing and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Install and secure moulds in injection moulding presses
• Set up machine parameters and process parts to specifications
• Inspect sample parts for accuracy and troubleshoot process issues

Requirements

• Previous setting experience in plastics manufacturing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Punctuality, good attendance, and strong attention to detail required
• Proficient in using hand and power tools safely
• Skilled with measuring instruments and basic arithmetic

Nice to have

• Licensed to operate material handling equipment, including overhead crane and FLT

Practical notes

• 37.5 hours per week, rotating early and late shift pattern
