Commissions Analyst

About the role

You will manage the end-to-end sales commission cycle to ensure global payments are calculated correctly and on time. This position requires a focus on data integrity, process documentation, and cross-departmental coordination to support our financial operations.

What you'll do

• Manage the commission calculation models and tools using Microsoft Excel.
• Execute monthly commission payouts for all regions based on current compensation policies.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and audits to verify calculation accuracy.
• Reconcile data and resolve payment discrepancies or exceptions.
• Coordinate with Finance and Payroll departments to meet monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines.
• Maintain and update the logic used for commission calculations as business needs change.
• Document internal controls and methodology for commission administration.
• Propose and implement improvements to automate or scale existing workflows.
• Act as the primary contact for inquiries from Sales, HR, and Revenue Operations regarding commission data.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in commissions, sales operations, revenue operations, finance, or payroll.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, specifically regarding financial modeling, complex formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
• Proven ability to manage large datasets and perform detailed reconciliations.
