This position involves owning complex SAP tasks that shape protection for many lives. Daily work drives solutions handling intake through build, review, ship, and partners. This role demands disciplined ABAP thinking for critical financial systems.

What you'll do
Designing intricate CDS views and AMDPs for demanding SAP modules.
Customizing dialogue programs, function modules, and RFCs inside SAP S/4 HANA projects.
Producing detailed technical design documents that satisfy every functional requirement.
Testing interface development using BAPIs, object-oriented ABAP, and enhancement exits thoroughly.
Monitoring integration suite performance and tuning backend SAP system alerts.
Configuring AIF frameworks to handle both synchronous and asynchronous interfaces reliably.
Documenting solutions for SAP upgrade projects involving SPDD, SPAU, and SPAU_ENHANCE processes.
Partnering with integration suite teams to resolve complex workflow and Fiori issues.
Applying SQL server skills, including SSIS and SSRS, within Control-M scheduling environments.
Using BRF+ and vals/subs logic to support business rules and global transaction structures.
Requirements
You have meaningful experience participating in a SAP S/4 HANA project implementation.
You can develop custom ABAP including dialogue programming, SAP Forms, ALV reporting, and function modules.
You create and maintain CDS views along with AMDPs in demanding landscapes.
You handle interface development using BAPIs, object-oriented ABAP, user exits, and enhancement exits.
You troubleshoot integration suites and tune technical object performance for alerts.
You configure synchronous and asynchronous interfaces within AIF application frameworks.
You write precise technical design documentation addressing all functional needs.
You follow Protective Life standards while developing and documenting ABAP code.
You develop, document, and execute thorough test plans for complex changes.
You debug performance issues and analyze systems during SAP upgrade projects.
Nice to have
Exposure to SQL server, SSIS, and Reporting Services for data workflows.
Experience with Control-M scheduling for job orchestration in SAP.
Working knowledge of Agile Methodology in fast delivery environments.
Fiori and Gateway development skills for modern user interaction.
Troubleshooting SAP Workflow processes and related integration issues.
BTP Integration Suite experience, including BPA and build code practices.
BRF+ configuration expertise for advanced business rules.
Understanding of vals and subs structures such as GGB1 and GGB0.
